Teaching Highlights: Civil Engineering Undergraduate Research Lab

Through the National Science Foundation CAREER program, I have initiated the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Research Lab - an introductory course in university research intended to introduce students to research methods and inspire students to partake in undergraduate research and perhaps pursue a research intensive graduate degree. The course will be extended to students throughout the school of engineering in coming years and will subsequently be developed into a series of online modules aimed at introducing undergraduates to the possibilities in scientific research.
