2. Issue WARNO (Warning Order)
-initial instruction, SOP (standard operating procedure) decides preparation
-Platoon Leader goes to Platoon Sergeant, Squad Leader, Forward Observer
-Squad Leader goes to squad

-OKOKA decides: placement of squads, dragons, and MGs (machine guns)
-Offensive- fire element placed to support moving element
-Defensive- personnel must have observation
4. Initiative Movement
-Platoon Sergeant, Executive Officer, First Sergeant may move platoon to mission start point
5. Conduct Reconnaissance
6. Complete Plan
7. Issue OPORDER (Operation Order)
-Situation (enemy, friendly, attachment and detachment)
-Mission (who, what, where, when, why)
-Execution (concept, Mission for subordinate, coordinating instructions) MOPP Status)
-Serviceand support (supply, services (logistics and food), MEDEVAC (medical evacuation), EPW (Enemy Prisoners of War)
-Command and signal (location of leadership, radio frequency, challenge and password, Chain of Command, flares,)
