Field Equipment
Leica TCRP1203 robotic total station. This instrument measures angles and distances and has an on board laser which allows for data collection in remote locations which would be difficult for a person to access like the eave of a 3-story building or a manhole in a busy intersection. This instrument has drive gears to turn the instrument's sights remotely via long range bluetooth allowing for a I man survey operation which save my clients in labor costs.
Carlson Surveyor 2 data collector and Trimble TSC2. These are hand held computers that have surveying software for all of field surveying applications. Both have the latest software and use Bluetooth and WiFi allowing for cable free operation with GPS and the total Station.
Spectra SP85. A powerful 600 channel GPS receiver delivering sub-centimeter precision for use on larger projects. This unit utilizes the mobility of the Carlifornia Real Time Network (vial a cell phone link) which has stations throughout San Diego County delivering real time corrections allowing for a cost-saving approach to many surveying applications. In the event that there is no cell phone coverage in the work area, I have a second GPS receiver that uses a radio to communicate with the first GPS receiver allowing this system to be utilized in almost any environment.
Office Equipment
Hewlitt Packard plotters and printers.
Caice, microstation, and AutoCAD software used for post-processing field data, creating Digital Terrain Models, generating alignments and survey reports and creating maps and other deliverables.
