I feel my "Classroom Learning Tools" page demonstrates criteria A through F of IA Teaching Standard 4 because the strategies and learning tools I have chosen to include on this web page represent the most commonly used tools in my teaching toolbox.  When I choose to use these research-based instructional strategies, I am able to address the full range of cognitive levels, while also connecting students' prior knowledge, life experiences, and interests in the instructional process.  And because I keep these strategies and tools close at hand on my classroom interactive website, I am able to be flexible and responsive in adjusting my daily instruction to meet student needs - needs that can change on a minute-by-minute basis, depending on the dynamics of any given class period.  Being attuned to those dynamics, while also being proficient with the use of these learning tools and strategies, allows me to engage students in varied experiences that really do meet diverse needs and promote social, emotional, and academic growth.  In addition, the fact that my students see me use available resources, including technologies, in my instruction to them helps them learn the importance of having a full toolbox to work with when completing any job.
