For those into recreational and sporting activities Jefferson County offers a variety of activities. Horse racing and slot machines are the featured draw at Charles Town Races & Slots. The Summit Point Motorsports Park provides auto and motorcycle racing. There are also numerous fishing sites alongside the Potomac or Shenandoah rivers, not to mention white water river rafting, hunting, hiking trails, and much more. For those with other tastes, there are wine tasting tours and numerous antique stores to browse and hunt for treasures.
