As an Associate Professor, teaching is an important aspect in my professional life and I spent a significant time in teaching & interacting with my students. My keywords are :
Passion: I aim to share my passion and commitment to the study of human behaviour to my students. I am convinced that it fosters learning and facilitates memorization.
Interaction: I like to discuss, exchange & debate with my students. Speaking alone is not satisfactory ;^)
Continuous improvement: how can we be sure that a student understood the messages we sent the way we want him/her to understand and perceive it? I have no clear recipes about how to teach efficiently so I try to collect as many useful feedbacks to improve my teaching skills.
Should you need evidences to show you how motivated I am to teach, read the below teaching evaluations from my students (the grading scale ranges from 0 meaning extremely poor to 4 meaning excellent).
Looking for helpful feedback (send me a message ;^)
BTW: I dislike seeing my students using a laptop, I prefer them being attentive to my lectures, asking questions and taking notes. Do you want to know why? Read the paper by Mueller et al. (2014) published in Psychological Science (see below).
