Junior Olympics

Each summer, Jungle Cat Water Polo prepares 16 and Under and 18 and Under boys teams to participate in the Junior Olympics in late July or early August.  In 2025, we sent two teams to the tournament in Dallas, Texas and finished 11th at the 16U level and 11th at the 18U level.  As you can imagine, this was an exceptional experience for the players; we can not replicate a national level event in St. Louis.

For the summer of 2026, boys born after August 1, 2009 are welcome to try out for our 16U team, and boys born after August 1, 2007 are welcome to try out for our 18U team.  Team members are expected to attend all practices and games, including two other tournaments.

The anticipated total cost for team participation is $1200.  This is in addition to Jungle Cat Water Polo and USA Water Polo registration fees.  Also, each player will need to upgrade his USA Water Polo membership to the Gold level, another $90 or so, but do not upgrade until we confirm your son's participation.
