Club Philosophy

• I will play fair.

Some coaches and players believe, "If the referee doesn't see it, it's legal." We disagree. We play within the rules whether they are enforced or not. Actions such as grabbing, holding, pulling by, pushing off, and using the bottom are wrong, unnecessary, and disrespectful to the sport.

• I will play hard.

We strive to do our best, both physically and mentally. We push ourselves during conditioning drills, play high in the water, and fight for 50/50 balls. We never do anything to hurt an opponent, even in retaliation, but we do play aggressively.

• I will play our system.

We come from a variety of backgrounds, but we play as one. We recognize that there is no single best set of tactics, but we also recognize that all seven players in the water need to be running the same offense, defense, counterattack, 6-on-5, et cetera.

• I will play.

Ultimately, water polo is fun. We make a conscious effort to know our teammates and coaches and enjoy the camaraderie of a team sport.
