Just a friendly Reminder. If you are new to Java Lake Colony, please read this. Java Lake Colony DOES NOT Maintain the hillside/beachside roads during the winter months. These roads are considered private seasonal roads. There are a few residents that have plowed the roads in the past. Java Lake Colony does not pay these residents for their service. If you do see someone out plowing the roads please talk to them and thank them for their service. Java Lake Colony only maintains the roads on a seasonal basis from April-September. That is how it has always been, Java Lake Colony does not have the means to plow the roads during the winter months. Feel free to contact javalakecolonyinc@gmail.com for any questions or concerns.

Board meetings are open to Colony members. We would appreciate that you advise us by sending an email to the colony email address (javalakecolonyinc@gmail.com) if you wish to attend. This is to assure that facilities for the meeting are adequate and address of meeting will be given at that time.

The Board of Directors meets -- either as a full Board or in Committee sessions

Monthly Meetings from May - September are held the first Saturday of each of those months at a board members cabin or cottage at Java Lake.

Monthly Meetings during the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, and April are held at a board members house.

The Annual meeting is held at the Java Lake Conservation Club, all are welcome to attend.

Board Initiatives:

On Saturday 7/12/2025, the board executed a volunteer-labor project to clear overhanging bush from colony roadways. Without this, Fire and rescue vehicles have the possibility of getting damaged or cause a delay responding to calls.
