My name is Ján Palguta and I am an assistant professor of economics (tenure-track) at CUNEF Universidad in Madrid. I am also a researcher at  the SYRI National Institute at Masaryk University in Brno.

I am an applied economist interested in public economics and political economy.  I study questions related to corporate taxation and determinants of efficient public service provision.  My work has been published by the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, European Economic Review, Journal of Population Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics and Urban Studies.
