Shobar Khamar is a technology-driven research project that aims to support cattle farmers through early, non-invasive disease detection using deep learning and mobile technology. The project combines farmer-centered research with image-based disease recognition to identify common cattle diseases and provide instant, actionable feedback through a smartphone app. By enabling timely detection and accessible guidance, CattleSavior seeks to reduce economic loss, improve animal health, and promote sustainable livestock management in resource-constrained settings.
CancerCare is an ongoing research initiative focused on improving cancer care through technology-driven, human-centered solutions. The project explores the design of cost-effective cancer registry systems for resource-constrained settings, investigates neurobiological and behavioral markers of depression among cancer patients using EEG and free-hand sketch analysis, and examines communication breakdowns between oncologists and patients. Through surveys, neurophysiological data, and computational methods, CancerCare aims to enhance clinical decision-making, mental health support, and patient–oncologist interactions, particularly in developing healthcare contexts such as Bangladesh.
NeuroLens is a technology-driven research initiative that uses multimodal assessment, combining behavioral data, self-reports, and EEG signals from interactive tasks, to enable scalable screening of cognitive and neurodevelopmental dysfunctions, including ADHD, Depression, Alzheimer's disease, and neurodegenerative disorders.
The C2SG Research Group is inviting motivated undergraduate students to join our interdisciplinary research projects at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), AI, health technology, education, and digital governance.
We work on real-world, socially impactful problems in Bangladesh using computational tools, human-centered design, and data-driven approaches.
