Colin and Lucy, Cantata by Tommaso Giordani, from the Immortal Austen Conference concert, Adelaide, July 2017, on SoundCloud. The performance of this piece in 2017 led to the essay 'Marianne and Willoughby, Lucy and Colin: betrayal, suffering, death and the poetic image', comparing the rhetoric of the piece with that of Sense and Sensibility. This was presented at a seminar at Bari and St Andrew's Universities, published in an Italian collection of essays, and is included in the forthcoming book She Played and Sang: Jane Austen and Music (2024).
