• We plan to meet 2 weeks (in-person) + 6 weeks (remote).  

• We work on two (interrelated) research directions: (1) commutative algebra of semirings, focusing on prime ideals of B[x,y], where B is the Boolean semifield, and (2) Tropical representation theory - its oriented matroids counterpart and potential generalizations to matroids with coefficients.
