From New Zealand with love

The New Zelander couple was quite pleased with the Lost Civilization excursions that the Jahan management had lined up for them. In fact, they were so impressed that they decided to send gifts and tastefully framed photographs of their travels in Cambodia to three children of Kampong Tralach province who touched their hearts.

Richard and Linda Jarrett, visited a temple in Kampong Tralach province. “…three of the local children accompanied us all the way there (temple) and back, giving us an insight into their lives in Cambodia and in this particular area,” they said in a letter to Heritage Line.

The Auckland-based couple wrote that the gifts were also “a gesture of thanks for the flowers and drawings that the three children gave them.”

A big thank you to the three children, who helped making our guests’ experience, a memorable one.
