This tour is an alternative tour with socio-political character.
It is meant to give participants the possibility to visit Bedouin and other Palestinian places around Jerusalem, and thus learn about the life and struggles of the Jahalin Bedouins and other rural Palestinians.
During the tour we will meet among others Ahmad Abughalia, who will not just show you, but also tell you about the history, daily living and customs of the Palestinian Bedouins, near Jerusalem.
PROGRAM
We intend to visit a choice of three or four of the following places:
* Shuafat Refugee Camp - Urban camp for Palestinian refugees
* 'Anata - Palestinian town
* Hizma - Palestinian town
* Nabi Mussa – Mosque and Bedouin cemetery
* Khan AlAkhmar – Bedouin village & primary school (made of car tires)
* Abu Hindi - Bedouin village & primary school (made of bamboo)
* Arab AlJahalin – permanent Bedouin village
* AlEizariya – Palestinian, mostly Bedouin, town.
- Peace Center for Heritage (Palestinian & Bedouin embroidery)
* Abu Dis - Palestinian village, cut off from Jerusalem by the separation wall
* Arab AlRass – village to be evacuated
* Azzayim - partially destroyed village
* Ma'ale Adumim - major Israeli settlement

Adults: NIS 180 per person
Children under 12, low income, organized groups of 8 or more: NIS 150 per person
