Research

Research Statement:

Jacobo Ramirez’s main research interest is organizational strategy in fragile states and other complex institutional environments facing security risks, displacement, and social unrest. Through studying private sector, in particular Danish firms in the Global South, Jacobo has been able to design novel methodologies and strategies to study and propose organizational strategies to overcome institutional change. Ramirez’s current work focuses on how renewable energy investments affect indigenous peoples’ communities and livelihoods.
