JVBC no longer offers a 12U travel team. JVBC's last 12U travel team was 2017.
JVBC is an Ohio Valley Region Junior Volleyball Club that was founded in 2009 in Jackson Township, Stark County Ohio. Our home base is the Jackson Memorial Middle School located at 7355 Mudbrook Rd NW, Massillon, Ohio, 44646.
JVBC began in 2009, formed by Club Director Sammie Dannug and Assistant Club Director Mike Hubbard, who are also the coaches. Prior to founding JVBC, both Sammie and Mike coached numerous years for the COAST Juniors volleyball club in Jackson Township and North Canton.
JVBC is registered with the State of Ohio and complies with all rules and regulations of the Ohio Valley Region USA Volleyball Association.
JVBC's mission is to advance the volleyball skills of Jackson Memorial Middle School girls to improve the competitiveness of the JMMS and JHS volleyball programs. Our approach is to teach volleyball fundamentals in an atmosphere that encourages enjoyment and knowledge of the game. Our primary goals are to teach the girls the JMMS offense and defense, instill a good foundation for skill advancement, encourage enthusiasm for the sport, and stress good sportsmanship.
Currently JVBC only supports a single 12 and under girls volleyball team, and we invite Jackson Township girls attending JMMS to participate. We have two major activities each year - the 6th grade volleyball clinic, and the 12U JVBC Juniors USA Volleyball team.
