I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Utah.

My main research and teaching interests are in the areas of macroeconomics, monetary economics, and (classical and Bayesian) time series econometrics.

My current research agenda focuses on two projects. The first one consists in studying the interactions between business cycles, economic growth, income distribution dynamics, and the structure of financial systems. The second one explores new econometric models and methods that separate permanent from cyclical movements in macroeconomic variables.

More information can be found in my CV, research and teaching experience pages.
