Learn about digital learning in online and blended settings. The modules of the workshop include target audiences and types of programs that match the audience, content selection and development, staffing and professional development, technology, quality issues, and other features.
Participant Objectives Participants will:
Develop a story describing the “why” of learning in a digital setting.
Distinguish between the types of digital learning settings.
Identify quality issues that are important to their students and program success.
Determine the source of course content and state reasons for selection.
Identify digital learning strategies that can be implemented in online and blended settings.
Construct functional specifications for technologies from the quality issues and needs of their programs.
Outline staffing and professional development requirements of their programs.
Outline essentials for an RFP for digital learning.
Identify policy issues that affect their program.
Identify key support systems for their programs.
Keep your own notes, RFP ideas, and reflective notes to address for your program.
