Boys Swim & Dive Finish 7th of 44 Teams at State Champs

Congratulations to the Boys Swim & Dive Team (6-2) on their Seventh place finish in the WA 4A State Championship! 

Highlights:

* Diver Robert Gref (Fr) finished Second

* Christopher Harig (So) placed 5th in the 200IM & 9th in the 100 Breaststroke

* Christopher Leu (Jr) finished 11th in the 100 Butterfly & 13th in the 200 Freestyle

* Captain Blake Ueda (Sr) finished 12th in the100 Breaststroke & 15th in the 200 IM

* Weston Crewe (So) took 9th in the 100 Backstroke  

* Adam Hansen (Jr) finished 11th in the 500 Freestyle

* Captain William Paxton (Sr) competed in the 50 Freestyle and helped all three relays score valuable points

* Owen Zablocki (Fr) competed in the 200 IM 

* Relays: Medley Relay (Crewe, Harig, Ueda, Paxton - 7th place); 400 Free Relay (Paxton, Leu, Crewe, Karl Yount (Fr), Harig - 9th place); 200 Free Relay (Paxton, Leu, Jack Githens (Jr), Yount - 10th place) 

* Others named to the state team - Ryan Cho, Joshua Sun 

* Captains James Adkins, Peter Poliakov & Mikey Redding were on hand to support the team

Note: a correction from last week's buzz - in addition to those named last week, Adam Hansen was named to the All-KingCo Second Team

Next up: Awards Banquet February 27th.
