The I.S. Sanders Scholarship was established in 1995.  In support of the many accomplishments of the youth in the area, a $1,250.00 scholarship is awarded each year to at least one outstanding graduating senior.  The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize scholastic achievement, but it also considers the special needs and abilities of the applicant. To qualify, the applicant must live, work, or attend church in the Caddo Parish area and cannot be an immediate family member of the Scholarship Committee, Board of Directors, or Founding contributors.

The I.S. Sanders Scholarship is sustained by voluntary pledges and contributions of businesses, organizations, family members, and friends.
