Short Biography

MD ISRAFIL BISWAS is a Lecturer (equivalent to an Assistant Professor in the US) in the Department of Computing and Mathematics in the Computing Subject Group, Manchester Metropolitan University (Manmet). He is teaching both undergraduate and Postgraduate units, Israfil is the unit leader of an MSc Moodle, MSc Apprenticeship Program Lead for Cybersecurity, and leading several academic and industrial research projects.  Isarfil joined the SPHERE project for IoT Networking at the University of Bristol (A top 5 UK university for research [2014 REF]). Previously, he was a research lead for the 'Data to Action' of Internet of Things (IoT) project with British Telecom (BT). I am a Data Scientist for Modelling Methods, techniques and uncertainty within the context of end-to-end IoT management framework. He explore new thinking and novel solutions for IoT decision systems to enable automated decisions to be made against the backdrop of these uncertainties. I am contributing in situation awareness for IoT devices and communication channels to prevent failures and security breaches, developing novel cryptographic solutions for IoT security challenges that are relevant to data privacy and data and communication security over cloud. I ensure proper protection of data and information, enforce privacy policies, assess the security provisions for cloud applications, manage security terms in the cloud service agreement using cloud orchestration software (e.g., Openstack, Cloudstack) for bench-marking experiments . I am with strong programming skills together with scripting on Linux /Bash to build sophisticated Release Frameworks, test harnesses using Python to aid the continuous integration and delivery of world class software.
