By collaboration with an organic retailer and an organic farmer, we designed three innovative types of contract between a farmer and a group of consumers, to promote and facilitate sustainable production and consumption. We collected consumers' preferences from a large consumers survey and a behavioral experiment in Flanders and identified leverage points toward sustainable shopping habits.
