In a college journalism class, we were tasked with writing and filming a news feature. I featured a beloved cafeteria worker to learn more about her and what she thinks of her job. Through this assignment, I taught myself how to use Adobe Premier Pro and valuable interviewing skills.
This was the first speech I had to give in my public address class. Though this wasn't my best speech of the semester, I learned a lot about public speaking by critiquing myself. My public speaking skills grew and I ended the semester top of the class.
During the spring semester of 2019, I was put in charge of creating an Instagram invitation for our sorority's spring formal. Everything was a surprise and I slowly revealed information over the course of two months by editing photos and posting them in the grid format to match our theme, Ariana Grande.
