IPNAMME partner; The Pan African Vision for the Environment (PAVE) is a Lagos-based non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental organisation (NGO) is poised to officially launch the Stockholm Junior Water Prize, Nigeria.
The event, which is designed to take place during a national press conference, is being hosted by the Swedish Embassy, Abuja, and the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Svante Kilander.
According to a release issued by the Programme Manager, PAVE, Temi Oguniyi on behalf of the President, PAVE, Anthony Akpan, the event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22 at the residence of the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria.
PAVE is a Lagos-based non profit, non-political, NGO established with the aim of promoting sustainable development through research, documentation, policy dialogues, workshops, advocacy and consultancy services.
It deals with development issues in their environmental and socio-economic aspects with emphasis on the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) targets regarding water and sanitation and other related human settlement issues including Gender, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Climate change and Clean Energy promotion.
