Teacher Bio

Hey y'all! 

My name is Chris Innis and I'm super excited for the 2024-2025 school year! This is now my eighth year here at Alpharetta High School! I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and then decided to head south and attend the University of Georgia, where I met my wife. While at UGA, I majored in Biology before realizing my love of teaching, adding on my second major, Science Education. I graduated with two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Science Education. I am currently working on my Master of Arts in Science Education (Secondary Biological Science) degree through Western Governor's University. 

I'm extremely excited to be back at Alpharetta High School and am looking forward to a great school year with y'all! Go Dawgs! Go Night Owls! And most of all...Go Raiders!
