Biography

Introducing Rosalie Mackay.I am from Sydney and first started line dancing in 1995 with Yvonne Hammond from Peninsular Bootscooters.

My first choreographed dance happened just a few months after starting dancing. I have had a passion for choreography ever since.

The same year I started line dancing (1995), I began teaching with Peninsular Bootscooters. In 1996 I started classes in the Frenchs Forest area.

In 2003 I renamed our group “In Line Boots”.

I am kept busy with eight classes a week from beginners to Intermediate. During my twenty seven (27) years of line dancing, I have been involved with the local Country Music Club Concerts once held at the Belrose Bowling Club since 2002 till 2015 on the last Sunday of the month. We moved to Pittwater R.S.L.in September 2015. Now at Pittwater R.S.L. Mona Vale the  Concerts are from from 2.00pm to 5.30pm. I also headed the line dancing at the very beginning of Northern Beaches Country Music Concerts held monthly at Balgowlah R.S.L since 2007 till June 2013. I lead the Line dancing at both clubs with my “In Line Boots” group. This also includes some team demos.

During these years my successful choreography and teaching has resulted in many invitations to do workshops, socials and judging both in NSW and interstate.

Some of my more recent dances are "Out On The Farm" "Crazy Baby 4U" "Lady In The Park" "Que Sera" "Come Out Tonight" "Budapest"  "Big Country Sky" Window Of Roses" "Not Over You" "But Baby"
