Initial Android Setup

This site is to support people as they first get their Android device and to look at the apps that Allanah thinks are pretty cool to use in a primary school classroom.

I am a MOE accredited facilitator who can come to your school and support your students and teachers in their use of digital technologies.

I am a Google Innovator and Google Apps for Education Trainer.

The only Android device I own is my Samsung 3G Camera. I have just got an ACER Android tablet which I am learning how to use. Some of the apps on this site are not compatible with it and are added on the recommendation of other teachers.

The costs of the apps are in kiwi dollars at the time of writing.

I strongly urge you to join the Android Group on the VLN so that you can support and learn from others who are learning with Android devices and to share your new finds.

Don't just take from the site- contribute to it.
