Method of Application

First Step: Applying Henna Powder

• In this step only henna (Sold Separately) is applied all over the hair from scalp to the roots.

• When preparing the Henna Paste, Mix the henna paste with warm water and allow it to develop for Minimum 1-2 Hours.

• Longer the henna paste sits and dye is released, the more brownish the outcome will be.

• Thereafter apply the henna paste thoroughly from roots to tip and allow the henna paste to sit for Minimum 1-2 Hours, and wash the hair well with only water without soap or shampoo, and thereafter dry with a towel.

• Grey hair will now change to a brownish orange. Longer you keep on the hair, darker the color will be.

• Best results with Good quality Henna.

Second Step: Applying Indigo Powder

After the First Step, Indigo Powder paste should be applied properly to cover the entire brownish orange hair.

Directions for Use

Step 01 - Mixing Preparation

• Mix Indigo hair dye with luke warm water (යන්තම් උණු ජලය) or Tea leaf decoction (තේ කහට) and make a thick creamy paste just before you are ready to use.

• Indigo hair dye has to be used immediately after mixing.

• Unlike Henna Do Not keep to sit or wait for dye release.

• You may add a pinch of salt to the mixture. Do not add lemon juice or any other diluters to Indigo hair dye.

• Indigo hair powder should be used in different proportions, according to the individuals color preference and volume of hair.

Step 02 - Application

• Apply this paste on the hair with a brush.

• Comb after 10 minutes for the paste to reach the hair roots.

Step 03 - Washing, Drying & Maintaining

• Wash off the paste thoroughly after Minimum 1-2 Hours with only water.

• Do Not use Soap or Shampoo.

• You may allow the paste to sit for 2 to 4 hours depending on your preference.

• The brown hair should now gradually turn blackish over the next few hours.

• Please note that inadequate or improper application and use of poor quality Henna as well as previous use of chemical dyes and hair oil will reduce the darkening process.

• If you wish to further darken the color, re-apply only Indigo Powder as per the instructions above after 24 Hours of the first Indigo application.

• Best results with continuous use and experience in mixing and application.

Important Considerations

* Do Not Use Soap or Shampoo for 24 to 48 Hours as the Indigo will need sufficient time to darken.

* Only if indigo is applied after good quality pure henna application, blackish color is obtained.

*The use of Chemical or Synthetic Hair Oils and Shampoo will reduce the product efficacy, hence use of Natural Hair Oil such as Sesame Oil and Natural Shampoo such as Soapnut or Aloevera is recommended for use.

** Though this is a Natural product, please conduct patch test before use in order to avoid any allergy.

** Please stop using the product and rinse immediately when or if it doesn't suit you.

** This is a 100% natural plant based product and hence the efficacy is purely based on the proper application and preconditions, therefore once opened this product is NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR REFUND.
