You may notice the change in name!! We heard we had 2 mares coming in and no one bothered to look! Sarge is a darling and loves to give kisses! He is 4 years old, not yet 4.5 and is currently healing from a fractured jaw. How did that happen, he is a horse and we have no idea. He does appear to be healing correctly so we don't think he will require surgery for his jaw, however he will be scheduled for castration, as not only is he not a mare, he IS a stud colt. No studishness out of this boy, and we are hoping that stays the same until we can get him fixed! So far, he leads, loads, stands for the farrier, deworming but that is all he knows at this time. Great project horse with no issues that we are aware of. Approx 13.1 or 53 inches.
Sage, approx 4 years of age, came in with Charity due to a seizure and is also in very poor condition. She also had an infected sore on her jaw (most likely due to a halter), this has been treated and she is doing well. She also handles well and stood great for the farrier. She is just a doll to work around and loves attention.
