About us

Imelty ry is a parents' association that supports students in bilingual education at Imatra Lower secondary schools both economically and ideologically. The objective of the association is to support students and teachers with teaching materials, supporting field trips, creating a yearbook highlighting each class's memorable moments and providing small scholarships for students to inspire learning English. These activities are funded by membership fees, organising events and selling ads to yearbook. Imelty is a non-profit organization. Its members are the families of the students in bilingual education. Imelty as organization is lead by a board, where all classes and the teachers have representation.
