Hello explorer!!! As you are traveling around the biome, make observations of the environment and gather the following information to create a detailed presentation for the rest of the class J.

1. Longitude and latitude

2. Abiotic factors

§ Climate

§ Soil

§ Precipitation

3. Biotic factors

§ Producers

§ Consumers

§ Decomposers

§ Human population

4. Create a food web showing the feeding patterns of the organisms.

5. Select a food chain from the your food web and make an energy pyramid.

6. Create either a carbon OR a nitrogen cycle of your biome (* label the 4 storage pools, organisms involved in the cycle and arrows indicating the release and the intake of C or N).

7. List and describe one plant AND one animal adaptation to survive in your specific biome

8. Identify one negative impact that humans might have on your biome and explain.

In a short presentation talk about the characteristics of your biomes (# 1, 2, 3), adaptations made by organisms to survive in the biome (#7) and the negative impact humans might have on the biome (#8).
