Affiliated Professionals, Students, Interns, and Dr. Reuben Mikhael Castagno's clinical and academic research interests are in the areas of  medical psychology, trauma: physical & psychological, social and developmental psychology, education, and cultural studies. We promote career development and research in the area of cultural competence and its importance in administering clinical interventions, mental health assessments, and providing mental health treatment. 

 Dr. Reuben Mikhael Castagno received a Baccalaureate Degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Hunter College, City University of New York and received his Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Developmental Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies from Columbia University. He is a Member of the American Psychological Association (Divisions 12 & 39), American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Senior Research Fellow at FERA (Film & Education Research Academy) Columbia University, and Study Group Member of Dr. Lewis Aron (Director of the Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis at NYU)
