This advanced, comprehensive program of study offers an integrated approach to learning across academic subjects with an emphasis on meeting the challenges of living and working in a global, technological society. Students who are not IB Diploma candidates may still take IB Diploma courses and earn college credit by passing tests in those selected subject areas.

Granite Hills is one of nine high schools in San Diego County offering the IB Diploma Program (DP) and the only one serving East County.

The entire IB experience is centered on the IB learner profile.
