Eligibility Requirements for joining The American Legion

If you are currently on active duty, serving the United States honorably,

anywhere in the world, or have served honorably during any of the following

eligible war eras, we invite you to become a member of The American Legion, Blue Grass Post 711.

April 6, 1917 thru November 11, 1918

December 7, 1941 thru a date to be determined

World War II Merchant Marines (December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 only)

To join Post 711, download and complete a membership application and

along with a check for $40 and a copy of your DD 214, mail it to:

Eligibility Requirements for joining The American Legion Auxiliary

If you are a Mother, Spouse, Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter or

Great-Granddaughter of an eligible Legion member, you are welcome

and we encouraged you to join Unit 711. Women who are eligible to join the

Legion are also eligible to join the Auxiliary.

To join Unit 711, download and complete a membership application and

along with a check for $25 for seniors and $5 for juniors, mail it to:
