HYPeR Opening hours
HYPeR was open to every young person between 13 and 18 years old who lived in the Harrogate District and surrounding areas.
It was free to come after school or during school holidays. We were usually open after school from 3:30 to 5:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time. During school holidays we were open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday between 11:00 in the morning and 4:00 in the afternoon.
On Band nights and Disco nights, the entrance fee was only £1:00! These started at 7:00pm and ran until 9:30pm.
Ground rules
All we asked is that you've not been drinking alcohol or taking drugs before you come to Hyper. We said that we'd search bags and belongings at the door before you come in and ask you to leave any food and soft drinks at the door to collect on the way out - as we would like you to buy food and drinks when you are in the premises.
Alcohol would be confiscated and poured away in front of you. Management retain the right to call parents and/or police if you appear to be drunk or drugged.
