H.T.S.C.

The Hubbard Traveling Soccer Club is a competitive soccer league that was established in 2010 and plays in the Youngstown Area Youth Soccer League (YAYSL) and the Trumbull County Soccer Association (TCSA). The league is designed to give kids that wish to have a more competitive level of play an outlet. Our goal is to establish young players that will eventually move up to the high school level of play or beyond.

Players will be invited to a team based on their age and by their play in the Hubbard Community Youth League (H.C.Y.L.) which is the recreational soccer league of Hubbard or by a tryout. They are able to participate in both the H.T.S.C. and H.C.Y.L. if they so choose. Selections will be held in early spring giving the players who are not assigned to a traveling team the opportunity to sign up for the recreational league. openings on teams can be filled by players from surrounding communities.

The level of play is advanced and commitment in time is greater. The emphasis is on the development of technical and game skills, creativity and a game “sense”. These teams travel to nearby communities and play other YAYSL and TCSA teams. Matches are played mainly on weekends, but some matches may be played weekdays. Additional fees may be requested depending on the use of professional trainers and participation in tournaments.
