From time to time, individuals take it upon themselves to add items into our lakes under the impression they are creating a "Fish Structure" that will enhance the area for improved fish development. The Board of Directors has deemed that anyone considering placing anything into our lakes as a "Fish Structure" must submit their request with details of what they desire to do to the Hamlin Townsend Lakes Fish Committee. The Fish Committee will present it's recommendations to the Board of Directors for consideration. These requests may be given to Mr. Lanny Hartman (Lot 17) or Mr. Paul Groh (Lot 25). You may also submit these directly to the Board of Directors at htla.assoc@gmail.com.Any structures added into the lakes without following this procedure will be removed. Our lakes are fragile and any alterations to its structure and habitat must be carefully evaluated.Thank You for your cooperation in this issue.Attached is a DNR document that discusses various types of Fish Structures.
