We had a great Science Fair!

A huge thank you to Teri Juska and Ashley Hartke, our Science Fair Co-Chairs for bringing back the Science Fair to Harrison! Thank you to all the students (and grown-ups who helped) who presented at the Science Fair. There were a lot of really interesting and inspiring projects! We are looking forward to hosting this event again next year.

Get Ready for Read-A-Thon!

Read-A-Thons get your children excited about reading and give friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more!

Our Read-A-Thon runs from Monday April 24th to Friday April 28th. We have some fun prizes just for participating, as well as rewards for our top readers! We are raising funds to replace the furniture in the Dodson vestibule entrance. Additionally, all funds raised by 4th grade students will help offset the cost of Outdoor Ed next year. We encourage our students to set a goal to raise at least $35.

We will be sending home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page for our Read-A-Thon next week. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress. We know that every child reads at their own pace and we simply want to encourage reading while also raising funds for our school. We do, however, encourage your child to set their own personal goal whether it be number of books or pages read or time spent reading.

We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/tjgHta/1 and following the simple instructions.

Thank you for your participation!
