December 1, 2015:
I have decided to choose a project called Bones. The name itself is quite intriguing. I am supposed to find the relationship between age and bone length. In order to conduct this experiment I will need a metric stick, pencil, notepad, 10 volunteers from different age ranges who are male, and 10 volunteers from different age ranges that are female. Apparently, part of my project requires me to create a song or a rap that explains my results. I'm really excited about that part.

Mr. Ozturk gave us time in class today to go on amazon and shop for our supplies. My supplies were pretty cheap and came out to a total of $13.07. He also let me know that since I'll be needing volunteers, I have to get them to sign a waiver. Apparently, this waiver is a very crucial part of the experiment.

During this week, I've decide to make connection with my project to math and to different technological achievements. I will have to find a connection between my project and real life.
I realized there are so many ways to engage math with real life applications.
December 12, 2016:
I am creating the waiver and I am planning on passing them out to the 10 males and 10 females today. I am hoping that at least half of them agree to participate for the project.
UPDATE: I have 3 men and 5 women who have officially agreed to participate. That means that I have enough female participants and need 2 more male participants.

Today, I've completed my social studies connection. I am so surprised that I finished it so fast because of building my project took too much time. On the other hand working pretty hard on my project helped me to understand my project better. I think that's why it makes it easy for me. I like the fact that the project can be so different with the wide array of designs. What I like so much about the project is that the possibilities are endless.

Today, I've completed my ELA connection. It was pretty awesome to engage Math with real life. I've used various strategies such as e-portfolio, journals, social studies researches, and creating a web site. I am happy to complete all of the tasks on my project.

Today, I will request approval for my website. I've realized that this project helped me to improve my organizational skills and problem solving. I can't wait to share my experiences with my professors next year at university. I hope that to get approval for my web design and PBL.
