About my school
Hello my name is Shiv i am a junior at Harmony School of Discovery.This year my school is beginning PBL’s which is short for Project Based Learning. The point of this is for us students to understand a topic in either Math or Science by also using History and English to understand the history of our projects and be able to write grammatically correct papers. By having a PBL we incorporate our academic courses by doing a one year long project, This is apart of something we like to call STEM which is short for Science Technology Engineering and Math all the the things we will need to understand in our everyday lives.This is a way for Harmony School of Discovery to help the students broaden their horizons and have a better understanding of what makes the world what we know it to be, Harmony Public Schools specialize in STEM because it helps us as students. Another thing Harmony School of Discovery does to help their students achieve their goal is by purchasing the materials we need for our year long projects. The Science Department at Harmony School of Discovery helps their students in a way that no other school does.
