Description of Club Goals:
Leo Club Motto: Leadership, Experience, Opportunity. The Leo Club and the Lions Club work together with the community to instill in our members a life-long desire to assist others. In addition to many service projects, the Leo Club held several fundraisers. As a result of their hard work, the Leo Club was able to present the school district with money toward the purchase of a phonic ear. In March 2008, several of the Leo Club officers attended Lions Youth Day at UNICEF House in New York. Here the officers saw a presentation on School-in-a-Box/UNICEF. School-in-a-Box offers necessary classroom supplies to children in emergency situations around the world. Lions Club International’s support of School-in-a-Box has enabled kits to be distributed to children in various countries worldwide. This year, the Leo Club hopes to continue to support this program.
