What is STEM education?
STEM education is education that revolves around science, technology, and math. You still have to go through the other required coarses, but the majority will be science or math realated. This type of education leads you to careers in these fields. The idea of STEm education came about for this reason, because we need more people in these fields.

How can STEM education shape the future?
STEM education opens new opportunites in the job market. It also helps to make the country a competitor in the fields. We didn't have many people in the field before STEM education and now there are a lot. So many new careers hve come out of it and the country now needs more people to teach these things. Now you can get a STEM education and teach with a degree in STEM. There are so many more opportunities in the field than there were before.

STEMSOS is a rigorous, interdisciplinary, standards-focused, and engaging STEM teaching approach that is teacher-facilitated, student-centered and directed through sets of project- and inquiry-based (P&IBL) projects. STEMSOS PBL approach is to maintain the focus on standards-based teaching while enriching and extending the learning of students through PBL projects. The goal is to promote not only collaborative skills and student ownership of learning but also to promote student success in state and national standards.
STEMSOS PBL Showcase is designed to promote and share exemplary student work in PBL projects that can serve as valuable learning and teaching tools for students, parents, teachers, and other educators.
