Harmony Public Schools
I am a student at Harmony Science Academy- El Paso. It is part of a series of charter schools located all over Texas; my school emphasizes the curriculum on STEM( Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics). It has been very successful despite being relatively young, with several groups of students going to the Robotics World Championship and receiving recognition at both statewide and international science fairs. This could not have been done, however, with the help of many dedicated teachers that work here. They are always willing to put in extra time to help us with anything that we may need despite that fact that they do not receive anything in return. With the help of these teachers, we have activities such as robotics, electronics classes, science fair, and scientific demonstrations.
