Driving Question:
How do you construct a 30 piece puzzle and make it using transformations?
Introduction:
I am going to create a 30 piece puzzles by using any program that cuts a picture into 30 pieces. For this project it will use geometry transformations like translation, reflection, and rotation. This project also requires a use of a program which can divide a picture into at least 30 pieces. The puzzle will be more complex and can use any appropriate picture I choose.
Pictures of My Project:
Materials:
Computer
Flash drive
Paper
Pencil
Procedure:
Basically in this project I will get an appropriate picture and make a 30 piece puzzle out of it using geometry transformations. I will first download Geogebra program, from there I will begin creating, appropriate picture with the Geogebra. Once I can get to work properly I'm all done.
Scientific Principle:
Graphical transformation of geometric shapes and principles
Principle/concept:
To use geometry transformations to make a 30 piece puzzle successfully.
Key words:
Rotation
Reflection
Translation
Transformation
Graph or Chart:
I will not be using any type of graph.

1.How did you create your puzzle?
- I created my puzzle using GeoGebra program which enables you to create a puzzle out of any picture.
2.For each pieces explain your reasoning for which transformation you would use
For each piece I decided between reflection, rotation, and translation as the transformation of choice. Depending on the position, I chose the transformation that would allow the piece to make a significant move, without becoming an obstacle to other pieces, depending on the movement chosen for those pieces. Overall, the parts had to be programmed to cooperate with each other, complimenting their respective movements so that the individual would be subconsciously guided towards the final picture.
