The Resonance bowl dated back to the Han Dynasty which was about 202 BC - 9 AD. The Resonance bowl was also known as the Chinese Spouting Bowl the bowls were made from bronze alloys and were used for meditation and was a toy for the upper class. According to the places that produces the bowl, it was use to stimulate your mind, maximize all essential muscles, and offer happiness also with long life to whoever uses it.

Spouting bowls are also used as a science tool to study waves because when the palm of the hands begin to rub against the two handles, the bowl will start to vibrate. The palm of the hands will create vibration and the water inside the bowl will ripple which shows the wave that are being in effect. The waves that are being created are called standing waves and they create a pattern called Chladni pattern. Standing waves are produce by two similar waves at the same time but opposite direction.
