Procedure:
Drop it from any height, as long as it has enough elastic potential energy to convert into kinetic energy so it can bounce up
Scientific Principle:
This Dropper Popper is not just an ordinary popper, this special popper provides a unique demonstration of elastic potential energy and conservation of energy.
Step 2: Push the top part in, to where it is inside-out.
Conservation of Energy: Everything can't bounce higher than where it was dropped from; not without that "extra" energy. So extra energy was stored in the dropper popper when it was turned inside out, like in step 2.
Elastic Potential Energy: Energy is stored in the popper as in a molecule. With a little bit of “activation energy” (dropping from a height), the stored energy can be released.
