October 2020 - Martin Jagunić, PhD candidate, award for the best presentation on "PhD Day of Biotechnical Area"
On the first "PhD Day of Biotechnical Area 2020", held on 16th of October 2020. (Faculty of Forestry, University of Zagreb), Martin Jagunić, PhD candidate and student of postgraduate doctoral studies of Agricultural Sciences, was awarded for the best presentation of the results of his research entitled "Ecology and characterization of the grapevine virus G and grapevine badnavirus 1". The recognition was received from Damir Boras, rector of the University of Zagreb.
May 2020 - Mladen Poletti Kopešić has joined the research group
Mladen works as technician at the Department of Plant Pathology (University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture). He joined the research group as technical support, especially for transmission trials and field surveys.
April 2019 - PhD candidate Martin Jagunić has joined the research group
Martin has finished MS study programe Phytomedicine at University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture with MS thesis "Alternative hosts of Grapevine leafroll-associated virus 3 and Grapevine virus A".
March 2019 - Darko Preiner, associate professor from University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture, has joined the research group
Prof. Preiner, currently head of Department for Viticulture and Enology, has extensive experience in viticulture covering wide range od specific topics: Croatian autochthonous grapevine varieties and their preservation, planting material production, clonal selection etc.
