We have so far collected 1,621,188 unique transaction records - every transaction that has taken place over 196,014 days in the lives of our diarists - comprising more than twenty million data points.

We have published many Reports, Slide Presentations, and Blogs, all of them available for free on the Publications page. More will follow.
With the onset of the pandemic we began a corona virus update page, with a subpage which examines why the taking of MFI loans has dropped significantly since the end of the epidemic
We ran a new page in November 2022 which gives a Day-by-Day account of the activities of two selected Diarists for that month
We published a new page in mid-2023 which examines all the MFI loans our Diarists have ever taken
A new Data page was completed (subject to updates) in May 2025. It examines the transaction record of each Diarists in detail
Md Kalimullah manages the project. He supervises a small team of data collectors who visit the Diarists daily. Their data is entered into a simple off-the-shelf accounting package and sent daily to Rutherford who lives in Japan. Rutherford reviews, queries and cleans the data daily. The result is a low-cost high-quality data set. The data can be had by emailing Rutherford at write.ser@gmail.com.
