HP's Integrated Management Centre is a management station with a difference.
I think HP IMC is great, I've installed it on around 15 different customer sites, and each time it has been pretty sensational. Its really configurable, and its 'vendor agnosticness' means its great when I go to sites which hardware from a number of different manufacturers.
I've got first hand experience using it to monitor the following vendors:
As long as the device supports SNMP, you are onto a winner.
It does have its drawbacks, I found it can be very easy to get lost in the interface, and difficult to find pages that you swear were there a second ago. All management stations are living, breathing beasts and you need to spend a lot of time tweaking and amending them to get the best out of it.
It's available on a 60 day trial from the HP website - I recommend you install the standard version over the enterprise version, because if you do decide to buy, then unless you're interested in the MoM (Manager of Managers) features, you probably won't need Enterprise.
By default, the standard licence comes with 50 Devices - and a stacked switch, is one device!
